Hi — and thanks for your in-depth comment :)
About the two issues you mention:
- I guess this depends on your personal taste — I completely get that some readers prefer “to-do lists” but I don’t feel like writing short notices and straight A to Z tutorials. My goal is to (somehow) tell a story and engage the audience with the content this way… I hope you understand my intention and again, I do realise it’s a specific type of tutorial that may not suit everyone ;)
- I obviously always try my best to clearly state the changes but I also need to find the right balance so as not to overflow the article too much with long snippets… as the scripts have gotten longer in later episodes, it’s sadly gradually become impossible to re-post everything with a “change start here v” comment ^^ I’ve however tried to overcome this issue by sharing the entire code on my Github, as is mentioned at the beginning+end of each article of the series… :)
I hope you’ll find these answers satisfying or at least that it will clarify some of my thoughts, but again many thanks for your very interesting opinion on the format!
Cheers :)
