Mmh, nice question. I guess you should distinguish the units’ rendering from their actual logic, so that you can switch the real rendering for a fake one… I mean that the unit would have a component with “real-time rendering that updates directly” if you’re the player who owns the unit, or else another component that can track if the unit is in sight or not. But that’s definitely a quick thought so I might be completely overlooking an obvious issue!
